We all know that curtains and drapes can add a lot of character to a room, but sometimes people are apprehensive about installing these delightful window treatments by themselves. Installing a curtain rod is not all that difficult, in general, you’ll just need two to three curtain rod holders, the curtain rod, an electric screwdriver and a few screws. To get started, mark the locations you want to install the curtain rod on the wall with a pencil. Next, line up all the curtain rod holders (when using decorative curtain rods you will want holders that are of a similar style). Depending on the length of the rod, you might need to use two or three holders. Once you have the holders in place, set the curtain rod. Using a level, level out the rod, and make adjustments as needed.
The final step is to loop the curtains or drapes over the rod, which is quite simple. Loop the curtains or drapes before you set the rod in place, then when done, put it on the curtain rod holders and you will have a beautiful window treatment!
